Hello to all,

We are in the process of selecting a treatment plan for Claire. We have contacted many of the top medical professionals for opinions on Claire's case and are weighing our options. This is obviously a huge process with much stress/anxiety and thought.

Claire has remained with us at home and shows no signs of a child at a crossroads. She has recovered amazingly well with few problems other than minor pain or the occasional mood swing. The changing of her "pick" line is never pleaseant but she get's over the process at her own unique pace. She returned to her CPP preschool class this week and was welcomed back with big love.

We fear the disease that has settled back inside her brain and continue to ask for strength in making the right choice. Whatever we choose, treatment will begin on/around January 2nd.

So we will enjoy our Holiday and having Claire home this Christmas. She was unable to wake up at home last year and the holiday just didnt feel right. As much as you try to make things normal, everyone can feel it's not. I know that our other children, especially Ryan due to his age, could feel something missing last year.

Some of you have asked for some pictures so I have selected a few from our November get trip Santa Cruz. This was soon after Claire's initial relapse and prior to surgery.

We wish all of you a Happy Holiday Season. Enjoy each moment.

Continue your thought's and prayer's for Claire.

Dear Miller Family,

Thank you for sharing Claire with us. It has been pure delight to experience Claire's joy at being at Preschool, doing art projects, playing with friends, riding bikes and having the kind of fun one can only have as an innocent child. Seeing the family at the Christmas pageant was equally as special. Claire, Shannon and Chris and your entire family are an inspriation of strength and hope. As always, you are in the thoughts, hearts and prayers of many. Your ending words summed up the message of the season - Enjoy each moment. God's gift to us is our lives. Our gift to him is how we live that life. Your example of how to live life in spite its difficult challenges is a blessing to many, most of all, to your precious daughter Claire, who feels your love and strength and keeps her fighting and happy in the process.
Wishing you a Christmas of treasured memories and the joy of knowing God has blessed us all with his most precious gift, his son Jesus Christ.
Rest in Him and know your decisions will be guided in love for Claire.
Merriest of Christmas's to you all.
Much Love, Mrs. McCarthy and CPP Staff.
