Claire-
My mommy used to babysit your brother Ryan, and we were so happy when you finally arrived. You have a tough family - all very strong people, and we know that you can fight your way through this. I have four sons now; Michael (5), Kolbe (3 1/2), Gabriel (2 1/2), and now Matthew, who is 7 days old. Whenever we pray together at night, we say a special prayer for you. And I hope that if anything ever happens to one of my boys, that they can fight and be as strong as you are. We love you and hope that everything continues to go so suprisingly, "miraculously" well.
With lots of love;
Paul, Allison (Belke), Michael, Kolbe, Gabe, and Phatty Matty Russo

Hi Claire, Chris and Shannon

You are all in my thoughts every moment of every day. I am a huge believer in the recuperative power of love and it is clear that you are surrounded by friends and family who care deeply about your challenge. This side of the Miller family sends our love, and the offer to help in any way we can. The other day I told Max about a doctor in town who has a similar condition and who sought treatment at UCSF, then a university in Houston...he is now being treated by doctor Wu and credits her with saving his life!!!!
